So Many Irons in the Fire

Thank you so much for all your wonderful messages and well wishes on my last post!  I so appreciated them.

Busy, Busy, Busy but getting little accomplished.

Here is are project updates -

waste not, want not.  I had to piece 2 sections of batting before I can baste my Abe Lincoln quilt.

What a good helper -

Here are sneak peaks on 2 different small quilts, one a challenge and one a swap  - can't tell you which is which....

Making slow progress on my Mother's Garden quilting.

Gathering up about 3o quilts to take to a local quilt guild to present  a trunk show on Wednesday night.

all under the watchful eye of you know who.

Hoooray!  My son, Andrew, received an acceptance letter from Ramapo College for next fall.  Great job, Andrew!  We're waiting to hear about housing (fingers crossed).  We may be empty nesters next fall.

Have a great week.

  4. Always fun to see your projects. You really need to try the new product for joining batting edges--it is fusible! Would give you more time for other more fun things!

  8. Yay for Andrew! Great news!
Your work is just beautiful!-how you do all that you do is beyond me.,, look at that pile of gorgeous quits! Vie decided that I'm going to restrain myself more this year and not give away so many quilts. I'm serious. I have a real problem with this, I need to keep some! I have very little to show for my work. That is good n bad...
I adore the valentine from your friend and you looked so beautiful on your wedding day. Xo

  14. Coco found some sunshine! What great news for your son, it's hard being empty nesters in the begining. I wouldn't mond being at the trunk show, it's a bit far though.
