After the dentist and house chores I plan to sit down with this and celebrate properly.

This is especially sweet for me because the quilt is a tribute to my mother, Catherine Clarkson Bednar 7/11/42 - 12/10/90.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Beautiful quilt - I love the design and the story behind it touches my heart. I too lost my mother to breast cancer when she was only 47. That was over 30 years ago and there isn't a day I don't think about her.

The whole quilt process and your lovely reason for designing and making it let me think about my mom and wish I had made her the quilt I had wanted her to have on her bed. I will make it for my sister who inherited the twin 4 posters mom mom loved and she sleeps on one.
