Fun For Friday - Shopping & Lunch

I shop on a "need to basis" and not for sport.  Yesterday while at the Garden State Mall with my daughter I was inspired by some of the window dressings and thought I'd share them.

Converse Shoes:

I forget which store this is, but these dangling cups were so cute!

One of my favorite stores; Anthropology -
This is a Styrofoam ball with plastic spoons stuck in and spray painted.  I love it for its simplicity.

They hung over the cash wrap station.

Louis Vitton had a playful theme based on the Hunger Games:

Confession:  I LOVE Burgers and Fries!

I took my friend, Norma, here a couple of weeks ago.

I love the crinkle fries.  Their burgers are small and come with grilled onions and cheese on a potato bun.

It has been featured on almost all the food network shows and has been there since 1946.    And it's so conveniently located just steps from the gas station.

Wishing you all a Happy Mother's Day on Sunday!!

Very cool pictures!
I too only shop on an as needed basis, why is it as we get older shopping (except quilt stuff) is no longer fun?

What fun window displays. It's an art form too. A lot of work can go into enticing us to buy. Also crinkle fries,... they're the best! Happy Mother's Day.

Love window art and I appreciate all the creativity that goes into coming up with those ideas that entertain and entice us.

Happy Sewing and Happy Mother's Day to you too.

Anthropologie always has such fun displays; the coffee cups are pretty cool, too.
Happy Mother's Day to you, too!

the plastic spoon art echoes Dale Chihuly - well maybe a little bit :o)

Thought I was the only who has lost my love of shopping. (except for quilt shops!) Going on line can be so convenient.

I love window shopping and amazed at the windows displays today. Anthropology usually wins the best window display although J Crew had a great one recently with book pages made into flowers very creative.
omg I used to go to that hamburger place YEARS ago!
wow can't believe its still there!

I'm not much of a shopper, but that mall would be fun to browse in.
Normally, I'd say those burgers look tasty, but I was away for a few days and ate out every meal. I'm looking forward to some home cooking!
Your gasoline is cheaper than ours. Do they still pump it for you in NJ?

my computer/internet has been acting up and i missed the party once again . . . i suppose if there are enough of us "party missers" there could just be a second one . . . lol
