Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
A made this swag for Hanna.  Someone sent the fabric to me and I just can't remember who but thank you!  It is so cute.
I hung my Apple Core for the month.
Here are some of our other decorations.
Hanna decorated a little tree with our glass Halloween ornaments.  The nail stickers are from TJMax.
Whew - the swap is complete and they are all on their way to the swappers.
Here is a setting that I'm playing with with my solids.
Here's a real treat!  Have you seen this cake at the store?  I was sceptical but you use fresh eggs and fresh butter.  Hooray!!  I added a TBs of Kahlua to the cake mix and it added a lot of richness.  (I happened to make this on a Friday - hence the Margaritas, lol).
Hanna and I had some Halloween fun at the zoo.
the sunglasses really make it, huh?  ha ha
Hope you have a Happy Halloween filled with fun and lots of Chocolate.
xo

And Boo to you too! Thanks for the cake idea. I haven't bought a mix in 20 years, butt hen I don't bake much any more so I think I will try it. With Kahlua of course!

LOL!! So much Halloween fun!! Your Halloween tree is so awesome, I know I would have fun looking at each decoration on it. It's always a treat to see your apple core quilt, and what a great trick to add extra Kahlua to that delicious looking cake. I love what you're planning with your swap blocks.

I hadn't seen this cake mix before, but will look for it. With just two people in the house it's too much to make a regular size cake. The Kahlua idea sounds great too!

Fun decorations! Adding Kahlua sounds like a good idea - I'll have to try that. I bet it's fun to play with the swap blocks! I look forward to seeing what other people do with their blocks too :0)

Your apple core quilt is so clever! Great decorating. I passed on spreading the cobwebs this year. Barely got the decorations out about a week ago.
It must feel good to have the swap completed!
Love the small cake. Very smart of someone to have come up with that.
Great shots at the zoo--and yes, the sunglasses make all the difference! : )

Your Halloween decorations are always the best. You and Hannah have such fun together, I'm keeping my eyes on the mailbox. I'm excited to see what fun pieces weed part of the swap. Thanks again.

I don't think I have seen the Poisoned Apple quilt before. Good wording on it and fits the apple core shapes that are pieced together.

What a fun post, Barb! Loved seeing all your Halloween decorations and your Poisoned Apple quilt. You and Hanna certainly transformed into scary creatures at the zoo! Received my package yesterday filled with lots of wonderful Broken Dishes. Neat modern block layout :)

You have some really fun decorations and have reminded me that I bought a bunting panel last year--I wonder where it is now--lol!?! I've been wondering about those cakes--great idea to "doctor" it up!

Looks like you kids had a fun Halloween! You're so good to still decorate -- I gave up a few years after the kids were gone. I've saved everything though -- just in case little grandkids happen to be around some year. Love the cute new banner!

What a fun post! Halloween is our favorite holiday! We did not decorate much this year...I seem to be growing REAL spiderwebs on everything, LOL! Congrats on your successful conclusion of your swap project!

All the decorations look great ; love those cobwebs on the chandy! :)

I HAD seen that cake mix at the store ; had to laugh since in the last year or so the damn cake mix boxes shrunk in size and you need about 2 now to make a decent layer cake! :)
