Doll Quilts!

Wee~ I received my Instagram Doll Quilt Swap quilt and is it special!  This came from Becky of Vancouver.  It is so charming and I LOVE it.
Perfect toile' backing and a little zip pouch with a bird pull.  It's like Becky knows me!
On my trip, my husband made fun of my ziplock baggie of small essentials.  So I'm especially happy to have this new little zip from Becky.
I had to try it on my dolly bed.  Isn't it sweet?
Here is the quilt I made my partner.  I hope she likes it.  The color combination is unusual but I know she likes reproduction fabrics.
I chose this Alphabet print for the backing.
I really do hope she likes it.
This was a great swap!  thanks to Jenny for hosting on IG.
I'll be back soon to share photos from my recent Caribbean Cruise.

On a serious note, I hope you are all well and well stocked with food, books and sewing while we all wait out the pandemic.

Treat yourself to a Shamrock shake, they are as good as you remember.

Both those small quilts are gorgeous. Beautiful work, Barb and your swap partner. Yes to Shamrock Shakes! I'm a bit mint fan.

Both such delightful doll quilts! I love the green you used for your alternate squares - it's beautiful together with the purple. Your little doll bed is the perfect prop to show them off. Very cute zipper pull :0)

What sweet little quilts to take our minds off the global pandemic! The one you received is adorable, but you know how I feel about the one you made. Wow, are those my colors - yum! Stay safe and quilt on!

Love that toile on the back of the doll quilt.

I have never had a shamrock shake and don't have the slightest idea what the flavor would be. Mint?

Such wonderful swap quilts. You received a beauty.
I think your color combo is great--love green and purple together!
Have to say I had a bit of deja vu looking at the quilt you received. Has many similarities to one I made for a swap. They aren't the same, but I'll have to send you photos so you'll know what I mean.
Sweet little pouch with the bird charm.
I can't recall the last time I got a shake at McDonalds. Celiac makes you careful of all kinds of cross-contamination possibilities. Maybe I'll have to make a shake at home. :)

Both quilts are gorgeous but the one you made really appeals to me, especially the lovely purple and green. Jenny is one of my real-life quilting friends and she is such a generous soul! Best wishes from Melbourne!

Beautiful little quilts. The zippy pouch came to you for a reason and just in time too. I love when coincidence happens. I had a lovely surprise in this post. It's the first time I see an alphabet print in French. That is so cool! Love your unusual color choices. They play well together. Love it. ;^)

Both little quilts are darling. Keep safe, I am sure all quilter's will have enough fabric to get through this harsh times.

Those doll quilts are adorable! I'm thinking I might need to get me a little doll bed just so I can make doll quilts. Thanks for the shamrock shake reminder -- I'd forgotten about them!

Both doll quilts are so sweet. I love the colors you used in the one you made, and that backing!!! I don't think I've ever had a Shamrock Shake. No St Patrick's Day in Japan but we do have cherry blossom milkshakes at Shake Shack;).

Absolutely love those two little quilts. Inspired me to perhaps stitch up a few doll quilts during this hibernation period. Besides the Carona it's snowing like crazy right now! Stay well and thank you for the great photos.

Love that little stars on point quilt that you received as well as that zippy pouch... inspiration for gifts to make is zippy pouches, maybe with clear plastic on one side so one can see what is inside! Both quilts look great on your doll bed. Did you ever tell us where you got it, and it's size? Snowing here too this weekend. Supposed to get warmer through the week. Then i'll get out and maybe have a shamrock shake at McD's.

The quilts are darling and I'm glad you enjoyed a cruise before things got crazy. I must admit, I've never even heard of a shamrock shake (how is this possible?) Please advise how I can get one, ASAP! LOL
