Happy Pumpkin Month!

I finally put a little fall on the wall!  I love Autumn - buy who doesn't right?  I designed this quilt using 3 inch diamonds and it is all hand EPP.

If you follow me on Instagram, you no doubt saw that I have an article in QuiltMania #157.

I feel so honored, and also grateful that I could share the importance of my friend, Gwen Marston on my work and life.
My friend, Cecile, of Patworkinspirations wrote this beautiful article.  Thank you, Cecile'!

I also have a quilt pattern in this issue using several Fun with Barb swap blocks!
In other big BIG news, my guest curated exhibit:  Personal Expression; The Legacy of Gwen Marston is now on display until the end of December at the New England Quilt Museum.

I'm so excited to have so many Gwen connected quilt friends in this exhibit!
To see more of the quilts on display, check out their website:  The New England quilt Museum.
I've been parcipating in Tayrn's of Repro Quilt Lover ohio star stitch along.
It's not too late to jump in on the fun.
I never have just the right fabrics, but I have fun getting close.
So many quilters are posting wonderful and creative posts on Instagram I've been inspired to do the same.

I think that's enough for  today.  Thank you if you are still reading my blog.
Make yourself a pan of Rice Krispie Treats and pick up some caramel apples and enjoy the beautiful autumn season.
They are so easy and as good as you remember!

Congratulations on the lovely article in QuiltMania! The quilt pattern in the issue is beautiful and would make a very nice Christmas project. Sumptuous Stars looks great behind your table. I always find so much inspiration on your blog!

Congrats. This morning’s temp was 36 degrees, a bit too chill for the beginning of October. I love your quilts and it is fantastic that you have a special tribute at the NE Quilt Museum. Mentioning your swap quilt, when is your next swap? You just made me hungry for Rice Krispie treats. And a cup of hot cider, and pumpkin pie and…..Dotti in CT

Congratulations all around! I'm so looking forward to seeing bloggers' posts with photos of more of the exhibit quilts since there's no chance I'll be able to see them in person. I love your diamond star autumn quilt!

You just keep getting famous-er and famous-er! Congratulations! These are such exciting times for you, and you should be reveling in the attention. It's great! Nice that you enjoy autumn so much. Here in Florida, the change in season isn't as dramatic, though I am appreciating days with temps in the mid-70s rather than the mid-90s. :-) What I wouldn't give for a fresh autumn apple, though. The best I ever remember eating was from an orchard in Wisconsin. Nothing else better! Keep having fun. Keep enjoying autumn. Keep making!

Congratulations on all the quilty activities you have going on right now! The recognition is so well deserved. I need to get to a bookstore to pick up a copy of the magazine before they sell out!

That is a beautiful Autumn quilt. (Dare I admit that I have not taken down the patriotic quilts yet?)
I can't wait for my copy of the magazine to arrive. It looks like a lovely spread. And how exciting to curate a show of Gwen inspired quilts. Really wish I didn't live so far from that museum, and could hop over to see my friends' shows!
I am working so hard to resist doing those stars. Yours look beautifully vintage.
Fun to see your fall treats. For me fall is pumpkin pecan muffins and pear pie. Yum!!

Such an exciting time for you! Your fall quilt looks fantastic on the wall. I have ordered a copy of the magazine and I am looking forward to reading it. We are planning a trip to the museum to see the quilts this fall. I really miss the Beaver Island Quilt Retreats with Gwen. So inspiring. What a fun collection of Ohio star blocks! Take care!
