Last Sunday, I finally had my favorite New Years treat: Fondue. I love love love cheese fondue. Here is the link to my favorite recipe form Joy of Cooking. BUT WAIT! They don't tell you the secret, fail safe ingredient and technique.
After you grate the cheese, toss is with flour and coat all the pieces completely. Add a little at a time until you see that it all evenly and lightly coated. I learned this from a Fondue restaurant and it makes your fondue perfectly velvety and smooth - everytime. Also, get the wine boiling, then slowly add the four coated cheese while whisking. I like it with green apples and red grapes in addition to the french bread.

Happy Friday. This week I thought I'd post my summer pop culture review of fun.
Books: Loving the "it" book of summer, almost finished.
Television: Always fun to watch what happens.
Movies: My summer favorite; Moonrise Kingdom.
Video Gaming: It's a lot of exercise disguised as dancing and so fun!!
Music: Cold Play is on tour and came to New Jersey.
Okay, so technically I didn't go to the concert, but Hanna and her special visitor from school said it was awesome.
I'll bet it's really fun to be 19 years old. They will be reunited on campus end of next week. A special hello to my friend, Caroline, thanks for being such a blog fan! :)
