I machine quilted it in a wiggly cross hatch.
I finished my Halloween Hex runner top just in time for my visit the Centreville Quilters in VA. I'm presenting a lecture/truck show and my Hex workshop this Thursday and Friday and meeting my blog friend, Aunt Reen!Wee! Here are some Halloween hexies made by my friend, Betsy in NJ. She took my workshop a while back and is still making blocks.
Here is Barb's from my workshop - I love her mix of prints and colors.
Barb also made this little one. I like how she arranged the blocks here.
I made a few more basket blocks. I love picking just 2 fabrics at a time.
Have a Wonderful Week~

It's a fun workshop, Barb. Some of us are just slower to finish than others (ahem).
I love all things Halloween - your liberated jack-o-lantern and hexie table runner are great! Thanks for all the hexie inspiration; now I want to go cut up Halloween fabrics in addition to my flamingoes! Have fun in Virginia! I would love a trip to VA right about now, cool weather and fabulous fall foliage (we lived down the road in Charlottesville for several years).
Have fun! It will be a great workshop, no doubt!
I love all of your Halloween quilts. My 7 year old grandson would love a jack o lantern quilt so grandmother needs to get busy! Thanks for blogging. You always inspire me with your beautiful quilts and creativity. Hugs from Kentucky! kelley
What a fun table topper - the fussy cutting is wonderful. Love the Jack o'lantern quilt :0)
Love the wiggly crosshatch quilting. Halloween quilts are fun. Time to get out my witches and bats.
I've not been infected with hexes but hear it produces six-sided symptoms (insert groan here)!
Love those Hexie projects, especially that patriotic little one. Thanks so much for sharing.
I love the top pumpkins. Improv is my favorite way to quilt right now.
The hexies are a wonderful shape to highlight a theme and do some fun fussy cutting. Cocoa makes a great model. Have fun with Doreen. She's a real sweetie.
I love the halloween hexie table runner. The gourd mini is so sweet and I love his wonky cross hatch quilting. Your basket blocks are great too. Yes, choosing just two fabrics at a time can be so much fun.
I love your pumpkin and Halloween hexie runner. What great projects. Hugs
I always expect to see fun things here at Halloween time, and you did not disappoint.
And Coco really looks hyped up for the holiday--NOT.
I think I can hear her saying, "Seriously, you're making me do this?" :)
Coco and Halloween quilts! It's Autumn at last!
All very nice but Ccco stole the show !! :) So cute.
Coco was made for Halloween modeling! I'd put her to work! Have fun with your workshop. These are fun!
Wonderful projects......
What fun! Love seeing your Halloween projects and--my quilts :) Thanks! I know you will WOW! the quilters at your VA workshop. Such sweet basket blocks. Can't wait to see what you do with them!
Very cute Halloween projects! Love the wavy cross hatching. BTW, I have made 2 stuffed pumpkins so far our of some sample upholstery fabric that I have had for YEARS! I need to make more and use up some more of those samples.
Halloween and hexies are a perfect combination in my opinion...I love them both! And I must say Coco looks quite lovely in her Halloween attire. She's such a stylish girl!
Halloween is just around the corner ! I loooove the bandana of Coco ! :)
Have fun at your workshop in VA ! Enjoy !!
A little late here, but I wanted to add that I love the two fabric baskets!
Love that cute little pumpkin Barb! Looks like you're busy and having fun -- have a great time at your workshop!
I need to make more and use up some more of those samples.
